Work

Walter Bean goes to Planet Green

I had the opportunity to bring Walter Bean Goes to Planet Green to life, a children’s book that teaches kids the value of treating our planet with respect and care. I was in charge of all graphic design elements, working closely with the artist and author to realize her creative vision. My contributions included designing the logo, developing the layout and typography, and managing the upload and distribution of the book across various platforms.

In addition to the above, I also followed the author’s style guide to complete and color unfinished pages, ensuring consistency throughout the whole work.

Educational clipart resources

Over the past several years, I have made various collections of clipart for the online marketplace Teachers Pay Teachers. Each design was developed with a focus on clarity and readability while maintaining a fun and colorful style suited for classroom use. I especially value seeing these graphics brought to life in educational settings!

Below are some of my favorite examples:

Client Work - Four Paws

I was the assistant set builder for the Four Paws animal rights campaign at Bewilder TV.
Working closely with concept artists and videographers, I followed schematics and plans to bring their vision to life in a way that was both practical and durable.

My work involved building and painting miniature models for a recording studio set inside a barn. I put together the barn by covering a wooden frame with corrugated metal sheets (similar to how a real barn is built), and then I built and painted all the recording equipment inside the barn.

After the builds were done, the set was handed off to a team of talented 3D artists who animated the characters in the physical set for the stop-motion style.

Dylema Studios

DylEma is an apparel brand I co-founded in 2023, where I am also the designer and brand manager. I design custom clothing and worked closely with my partner to create this one-of-a-kind denim jacket, made from recycled jeans:

I also built the brand’s visual identity from the ground up, including creating the logo, typography, and consistent branding.

Other than this, I also represent the brand at local markets, engaging directly with customers and promoting the business through in-person sales.

Educational worksheets

Collaborating with an experienced teacher, I got to create the designs and layout for educational worksheets. This involved creating and organizing pages, developing visuals, and ensuring the content was easy for students to follow. This experience strengthened my skills in layout, typography, and designing educational materials that are both functional and visually appealing.
